Thanks to political candidates and news outlets, "Web Logs" or BLOGS became pretty much mainstream around 2004. Today, everyone from the President, to Jeff Bridges and down to the 16 year-old neighbor kid, has a blog. Blogs are an excellent way for you to be more personal with your visitors. It's also a really simple way for you to update portions of your site on your own. It can be just an addition to your main website, and has huge potential to bring in extra traffic to your site. You can also just have a blog be your only online presence. I will take care of installing, designing, and setting up hosting for you. SOCIAL NETWORKING

"Social networking" is a fragment of something bigger called "social media". Basically, we're talking about websites and applications for keeping in touch with friends, displaying pictures, instant messaging, playing music, and most importantly, promoting yourself or your brand! Just like blogs above, this is another great way to bring in traffic to your websites. Myspace was the dominant online social spot for years. Although their traffic numbers have dropped significantly, they still boast millions of user and band accounts. Myspace is great for musicians, as they allow you to share your music, and let designers like myself create custom pages. Twitter and Facebook have come along, and currently are the two forces to reckon with. Facebook claims over 500 million active users worldwide, while Twitter has over 100 million. Those are just the big three! We are talking serious potential for millions of people to see what you're selling, or what service you provide. Facebook isn't as easy to customize as Myspace, but there are ways to make your page stand out from others. There's also affordable ways to advertise on the Facebook Network as well. Twitter is great for individuals who want to communicate quickly with their customers. For example, say you have a certain item on sale for this week, you then "tweet" that to all your followers along with a link to your page. They click that link, visit your site, and BUY! PSD to (x)HTML

You might not know what the heck that means, but it's quite simple to explain. I'm betting you have heard of Adobe Photoshop before. Photoshop has been a web and graphic design standard for many years now. It's still how most web designers create images for websites. With the awesome changes in web design languages lately, some designers are using it a bit less, but I don't ever see it being fased out altogether. This service is for people who either know how to use Photoshop or have someone doing their graphics for them already. Basically, you would send the Photoshop mockup over to me, and I will then convert that into clean, working CSS and HTML web language.

PRINT DESIGN

Whether it's a unique business card, tee-shirt design, physical or digital album cover, or an awesome poster, I will work with you to create something that will grab people's attention! You want that potential client to really take a look at the design, and in return want to know more about you, or what you are offering. That is my own personal goal, and will also be my purpose when designing anything for you. There's a huge variety of items I can create for you. There's the aforementioned business cards, shirts, album covers, and posters, but that's not all. What about logos, letterhead, and envelopes that will represent you and your business! You need an identity that is distinguished and really communicates your message to your clients. We will discuss all your thoughts on the look, I then create up to three design mock-ups, you choose the one you would like, and it's off to the printer!

MUSIC SETUP

Musicians! Are you selling your music in stores and online?! If not, what are you waiting for?! Get your music sold and played on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, record stores, and more! We will use the service from CDBaby in order to do this. You can go there and do it all yourself, or I can take care of all the setup for you. You might ask yourself, "why would I have him do all this, when I can do it myself?". Well, on more than a few occasions, I've been asked by musicians do take care of everything for them, because they didn't want to deal with it, or were too busy at the time. More importantly though, what about merchandise designs? I can create eye-catching graphics for you or your band to put on all your merch. What about giving away free download cards at your shows? We can create a great looking card that directs your fans to visit a site for a free download, and on that site, also have a preview and option to buy your other music?
